Davbridge Constructions was established as a partnership between Ray Davies and Lee Davies in November 1989.  On the 20th June 1994 the partnership was incorporated and became Davbridge Constructions Pty Ltd. It was later changed to Davbridge Properties Pty Ltd T/as Davbridge Constructions in 2007.

Today, Davbridge Constructions has offices located in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.  The business is registered in Queensland and operates throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales.  The company is pre-qualified with Queensland Transport to Levels B3/F4/R1 (Conditional R2) (MWPS).

In recent years, Davbridge Constructions has expanded into the fields of subdivision development and tilt-up warehouse construction.  Current examples of such projects are the 10 & 12 Maiella Street Warehouse Units at Stapylton, 60 Notar Drive Warehouse Units at Ormeau, 16-18 Enterprise Drive, Beaudesert and the Subdivisional Development at Wuraga Road, Bahrs Scrub.

Davbridge Constructions owns and operates an extensive fleet of plant and equipment including graders, excavators, rollers, cranes, piling hammers and bored piling rigs.

Over the past twelve years, Davbridge Constructions has continuously demonstrated its ability to provide consistent reliable quality products and services which has enabled the Company to expand into a thriving and competitive sized construction business.

Qualifications

Davbridge Constructions achieved second party Quality Assurance status in May 1995. Certificate Number 2195 issued by the Queensland Government to AS/NZS ISO9001:2000.

The Company is third party certified under ISO 14001 & AS/NZS 4801 and has fully compliant Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems in place. Additionally, the Company is second party certified under ISO 9001 for its Quality Management System.

Ray Davies, (Managing Director) is also a licensed General Builder and Concreter. Licence No: 65417.

Davbridge Constructions owns and operates its own piling equipment which can be mounted on any of our own crawler cranes (35t, 50t, 60t, 85t). Additionally we operate 2 Drilling Rigs, a Bauer BG15H and a CMV TH1550 which are used in bored pile construction.  These machines drill from 450mm to 1500mm diameter to 42m of depth.  Hammers owned and in service are 2 - BSP7-9 Tonne piling hammers which are adjustable from 5 tonne to 9 tonne and a 12 tonne 'Bruce' hydraulic hammer designed to install large PSC piles.  Sheet piling is carried out using our crane mounted ICE 216 Vibrator Hammer or our Dawson EMV300A excavator mounted units.  We have successfully completed the installation of PSC piles for all of our bridge construction projects undertaken over the last three years.   In addition, we are undertaking various piling works for bridges and building projects for State, Local Government and the private sector.
