Roadworks

Teviot Road, South of Hives Road to south of Olsen Road, North Maclean.  Intersection upgrade, road widening and drainage structures.

The project required us to widen existing sealed road to provide 2/3.5m traffic lanes on a 9.6m fully sealed formation.  Works include demolition/removals, earthworks, culvert construction (precast units plus insitu concrete), road pavement construction, bitumen surfacing and installation of signage and guide posts for the Main Roads Department.

Construction of pavement widening and intersection works from Pinewood Avenue to Two Mile State School, including school car park area.

Construction of 1.5km of road shoulder widening including upgrading of existing private entrances and associated traffic management.

These works involved the excavation of existing road construction to depth and forming cutting slopes. The construction of new road on revised vertical alignment, widening of road for future access and associated drainage signing, line marking, earthworks and turfing.

Pavement Rehabilitation works comprising Cement Stabilisation and Bitumen Surfacing from Gundah Singh Road – Boogan Crossing.

Pavement Stabilisation and bitumen surfacing 9.34km of existing pavement in sections over a length of 32.51 klms.

Construction of 9.0m wide insitu modification pavement and a polymer modified binder seal of 6.6km of the Bruce Highway between the northern abutment of the Midgee Creek and the intersection of the Gavial-Gracemere Road with the Highway.

Construction of 1.5km of new road realignment together with works under traffic including reinforced concrete boxed structures and associated drainage.

Construction of approx. 5k of railway formation including the manufacture of Top 600 material and installation of 3 major drainage structures.  Earthworks include approx. 126,000 cut to fill together with 30,000 m3 of Top 600 material.
