Bridge contractors since 1989

Davbridge Constructions has been building bridges and civil infrastructure across Queensland and New South Wales since 1989. From our base on the Gold Coast, our team of 36 delivers bridges, piling, roadworks and civil structures in metropolitan, regional and remote locations for local and regional councils, state governments and private industry.

We self-perform the critical scope on our projects. Our own crews carry out the piling, crane work, structural erection and concrete, using plant we own and maintain, including crawler cranes up to 180 tonnes and our own piling rigs. Keeping this work in house gives us direct control of program, quality and safety, removes margin on margin for our clients, and allows us to mobilise quickly to remote sites.

We are at our best when we are involved early. Through Early Contractor Involvement, we work alongside clients and designers before the design is fixed, bringing practical input on constructability, staging, temporary works and risk. We collaborate openly with our clients, designers, subcontractors and the communities around our sites, sharing information early and solving problems together.

Bridges are rarely built in easy places. Drawing on more than 37 years of experience, we develop practical solutions for complex sites, from live waterways and flood prone creeks to rail corridors, live traffic and remote locations, always focused on delivering the best value for money for our clients and stakeholders.

Our reputation is built on safety, quality and environmental care. We have recorded zero fatalities, our integrated management system has been certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 since 2009, and we are accredited under the Federal Safety Commissioner's WHS Accreditation Scheme. We plan every project to protect waterways, vegetation and cultural heritage, and we have a proud record of finishing on time and on budget.
