Roads, approaches and culverts
A bridge is only as good as the road that leads to it. We build bridge approaches, realignments and the surrounding roadworks as part of the same package, giving our clients one contractor for the whole crossing. Our own civil crews and plant deliver the earthworks, pavements, drainage and culverts. Staged construction and careful traffic management keep roads open, and we keep residents, road users and stakeholders informed throughout the works.
We also deliver standalone road and culvert projects for local and regional councils, state governments and private industry. These range from flood damage restoration and rural and remote roads to wind farm and mine access roads. Self-performing the work with our own people and well maintained fleet gives our clients a single point of accountability, and the flexibility to adapt as site conditions change.
Davbridge is prequalified with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads at R2 (roads) and B3 (bridges), and is recognised by Transport for NSW at R2 and B3.
